TRAC Therapy Research Autism Center is Hiring a Behavioral Technician (FT) Near Grand Rapids, MI

T.R.A.C. Therapy Research Autism Center is seeking self-motivated and those that have a great desire for all diagnosed with ASD and TBIs to join our team. At T.R.A.C. we pride ourselves on putting together teams that work together in order for the client, their family members and all on the team to be able to reach their personal and professional goals. We too not only believe, but work towards all children and adults alike overcoming the obstacles associated with their diagnosis(es) and to be provided the opportunity to become their best selves.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Responsibilities of the ABA Technician Include the Following:
  • Implementing programs and materials that are in accordance with the treatment plan or that have written approval by the supervisor (BCBA-D, BCBA, QBHP, BCaBA).
  • Covid-19 screening per recommendations of the CDC.
  • The ABA Technicians are responsible for submitting data as shown whether it be using paper and/or with a system such as BIPTrack.
  • Attend Meetings, Orientations and schedule trainings and complete the requirements by a certain date as required by the insurer, state and/or county.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be able verbally and orally communicate in a scientific and professional manner in complete sentences while limiting grammatical and spelling errors.
  • ABA Therapists must be provided with ABA Result-Driven programs and materials needed to fulfill the number of hours allocated during their session. Therefore, part of the role as an ABA Technician is to follow through with the programs as written and report to the supervisor when and if additional programs or materials are needed as the targets are being mastered. They must show the communication as it occurs with their supervisors in order for the client to be able to reach their goals.
  • ABA Technicians must conduct themselves in a professional manner and in accordance with the BACB, T.R.A.C. and all affiliated with T.R.A.C.
  • ABA Technicians are required to graph or collect data based on the requirements of their supervisor or the supervisor their (BCBA, QBHP or BCaBA) or the supervisor of the BCaBA (BCBA, BCBA-D) within the time frame requested.
  • Conduct themselves in a manner that is professional and in accordance with the BACB, T.R.A.C. ,those affiliated with T.R.A.C. and its partners.
  • Submit notes, documentation and attend trainings in accordance with the BACB, T.R.A.C. , those affiliated with T.R.A.C. and its partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Autism and Behavioral Health Experience Preferred. Candidates who are interested in the position must have experience in the following fields are especially encouraged to apply: Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Behavioral Sciences, Social Work, Education, Child Development, Home Health Care, Caregiving, Babysitting etc.
  • Applicant must be a Michigan Resident
  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Drivers License or State ID
  • Reliable Transportation with Proof of Auto Registration and Auto Insurance
  • Professional and excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient computer skills
  • All applicants are subject to a background check
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience

  • Full-time employees (30 hours weekly) can become eligible for all benefits listed. Part-time employees are eligible for PTO, Sign on Bonus, and Pay Differential.
